Where installs start

What does your yard need?

A whole new system, a replacement, or more coverage than you have now. Each job below is install work Mike already does.

  • A yard with no sprinkler system

A yard that has never had sprinklers, or one that has been watered by hose for years. Mike lays out the zones for the whole yard and installs the system.

  • An old system you are ready to replace

Lines and heads that keep breaking, or zones that never covered right. Mike can replace the old system with a new one laid out for the yard you have today. If it only needs a fix, see the sprinkler repair page.

  • New sod or a re-landscaped yard

Mike installs sod and does landscaping too, so a new lawn or new beds can be paired with irrigation that actually waters them, on the same job. See the sod installation page and the landscaping and design page.

  • After a pool goes in

A new pool changes the yard around it. Mike installs new irrigation after a pool install, laid out around the yard as it is now.

  • Ground the old system never reached

A side yard, a back corner, or a bed that stays dry because no zone covers it. Mike adds zones and valves to an existing system so that ground gets watered too.

  • Not sure if you need a new system or a repair? Tell Mike about the yard and he will take it from there.

How an install goes

  1. The layout

Mike looks the yard over and lays out the zones: where each line runs, where the heads go, and whether the system will run on well water or city or county water.

  2. The lines

The pipe goes in underground, in trenches cut out to each zone.

  3. The valves and the controller

Each zone gets its valve, and the valves are wired to the controller that runs the watering schedule, as a 2-wire or a conventional system.

  4. The heads and the coverage

The sprinkler heads go in and each zone is adjusted for even coverage. Mike also installs and sets rain sensors, so the system skips a cycle when it has already rained.
